Minutes during the BIBAK SD 3rd general meeting and party 8/31/24.
FYI for those who weren't able to make it.
1) Treasurers report done by Sis Evina.
2) Thanksgiving party and 4th general meeting will be on November 30, 2024, at Rhor Park.
3) Contact info for the youth officers so we can coordinate how we can better assist them if they're planning any activities. Sis Jeanne Ricketts will try to help us on this matter.
4) Christmas party on 12/21/24. The Masonic hall in El Cajon was already reserved. Also, December is the time to renew our membership dues. This is just a gentle reminder.
5) Our music and dance festival event is a go....the event committee did a good job planning the activities, and Mitch and Myrna reserved this date [October 12]for us to use their place for free (thank you as always).
It will be a potluck, no entrance fee, but we will be selling raffle tickets and accepting monetary donations at the door to offset some of our expenses.
The program committee asked volunteers to share their talents during the meeting, and we already had participants lined up, and our program is set to go. Also, the program committee will be responsible to coordinate for the sound system.
Now, the fundraising committee will be responsible for selling the raffle tickets, and we are still accepting voluntary gift donations from the bottom of your heart
5) The schedule of major events during this term was posted last June . Please review the schedule, and if you have any concerns, let me know, and we can work it out.
6) We were able to collect $425.00 dollars during the pass the hat for the Baboy...we have 125 left plus the $60 dollars last time, so we have $ 185.00..mabalin nayonan para letchon during the event...
