On October 13, 2023, a violent incident occurred in the barangay of Amduntog, Asipulo, Ifugao where several innocent victims were left injured, traumatized after a person wielded a bolo and began attacking members of the community; it left one child killed, and many in great distress. BSD President Celia organized a fundraiser for the victims and their families, collecting donations from  generous supporters- many of them being from BIBAK San Diego- and sent the funds to the Municipality of Asipulo to be distributed as needed. The San Diego Donors were recognized in the Municipality's Sanguniang Bayan Session providing the Certificate of Recognition to Celia who was in town on a trip to the Philippines.
