Notes from the Meeting

From the BIBAK President, written in the Facebook Group:

Belated Happy mothers Day to all the mothers!! Thank you, everyone, for your presence during our 2nd general meeting for this year. And to those who weren't able to attend, we missed you and hope to see you during our next gathering.

Here's the minutes of our meeting last Saturday.

1). BIBAAK Las Vegas is inviting us to their CULTURAL GALA on June 28, 2025. It's $100 dollars per ticket. Please see the post I previously shared on our FB page. If you are interested, please leave a comment here and we will get back to you.

2). Benguet13 is inviting us to their 25th Anniversary celebration on May 17, 2025, at 1pm to be held in Yucaipa. Please refer to my previous post on this FB page for more information, or you can leave a message in this post, and we'll get back to you.

3). We talked about the invitation regarding IAM this coming November during the Veterans Day weekend. In as much as we want to join, we don't have players. The older adults have their own reasons for not joining while the younger adults already have plans during that weekend, and they said that they can possibly join if it will happen in springtime next year. So members voted, and the majority voted not to join the IAM Sportfest.

4). We are still accepting membership (dues) payment for 2025- 2026. We will be posting the list of paid members once our very patient treasurer completes the list.

5). Father's Day celebration will be on June 14, 2025, at Tera Nova park near the basketball court and rest room. As usual, potluck and BIBAK will provide lechon to be ordered by Mr. Tony Siak. Our secretary will post the reminder soon.

6). The election committee is still looking for volunteers to be our next officers for 2026-2027. If you are interested, please contact Marilou, Myrna, or Marge or any of the officers.
