Hello BIBAK Family, Happy Labors Day weekend to all of you!!! Thank you, everyone, for your presence during our 3rd general meeting for this year. And to those who weren't able to attend, we missed you and hope to see you during our next gathering.
Here's the minutes of our meeting today.
1). We gladly welcome Ladd Badol and Glen Lacaman, who are here on vacation from Baguio. We also extend our warm welcome to John and Philian Allan, who are now residing in Apple Valley, Ca.
2). The committee on election represented by Marge Heo Marines presented to us the partial list of volunteers for 2026-2027. If you are interested or want to nominate with confirmation, please contact our election committee. We will have our final and confirmed list during our 4th general meeting and Thanksgiving party in November.
3). It was voted by members that our induction and Christmas party will be on December 20, 2025, at St Mathews hall. Details to follow.
4). It was agreed upon by members that we will have a fundraising concert on November 8, 2025, which will be held at St Mathews hall. If you are interested in joining the band, please contact Helen Balitang or Carlo Basallo.
5). Caroling: Everyone is encouraged to join our Christmas caroling and exercise our vocal cords.
The schedule is as follows:
Group 1: Centralized caroling for San Diego, National City, Paradise Hills, Lemon Grove, and neighboring area code will be held on December 5, 2025, at our place.
Group 2: Chula Vista area and other neighboring area codes or who missed the group 1 schedule will be December 6, 2025, at the Fianza's.
Group 3 is up north , at Ellen Tanacio's place. Ellen will try to reach out, but please help her by reaching out to her.
Group 4: You can also invite us to your home if you prefer, and we will gladly bring you good tidings of joy!!
Group 5: A plan to go to Apple Valley / Hesperia area c/o manong John and Philian's place. Date to be determined.
Group 6:I need to ask Marilou if we can also Carol their area code. Details to follow.
6) Treasurers report was done by our treasurer Evina. Also, just a friendly reminder, we are still accepting membership dues payment..
7) BIBAK Arizona is inviting us to their Christmas party on December 13, 2025. The cost is $75 dollars per adult. Also, they are requesting if we can perform at least 1 cultural dance during the party. Let us know if you are interested so we can hire a 16 seater Van or less depending on how many are going. I also forgot to mention the following information:
A) The Las Vegas BIBAAK Christmas party is on December 5, 2025.
B). The Benguet13 organizations Christmas party is on December 27, 2025, to be held at Pechanga casino. We already have tickets available, so let me know if you are interested. Thank you very much for everything you do in helping our organization Please pass it on.
